Whether you need to work on your spending habits, learn how to save, or find ways to earn more money, you can find a way to stop being broke. Follow these steps to start working towards financial freedom and better peace of mind.

Part 1 Getting into the Right Mindset.

Part 1 Identifying Joint and Separate Property.

1. Identify all property you and your spouse own. When your spouse files for bankruptcy, they will have to list all of their property on a schedule and report it. The trustee uses this information to determine the size of the bankruptcy estate.
